this is an important tab function lacking:

suggestion:

extra option: open external links in new tab, but internal links in current tab (just like in tab mix plus extension on firefox)

Does "external links" mean "links in another domain"?

When we have time we can write an user script for this request.
It is not complicated to implement.
No need to build into the browser.
