For some reason, the amount of memory used by CentBrowser doubled after installing the latest build (2.1.9.50). I tested it on three different machines and the result was the same on each. After reinstalling the previous version of CentBrowser (2.0.1.57), the memory issue resolved itself on all three machines.
I'm wondering if anyone else has been having this problem so I can try and figure out whether the issue is local or if the problem is with CentBrowser.
If further information is needed, please let me know.

Here as we tested, the difference of memory consumption between 2.0 and 2.1 is less than 5%.
Have you changed any options or flags(e.g.:chrome://flags/#disable-direct-write)?
You may compare 2.0 and 2.1 with empty profiles(or run by safemode.bat).

Pretty much having the same issue you are, ram usage is way higher with 2.1.9.50. Before 2.1.9.50 my ram usage would rarely ever hit above 45% (in total not just centbrowser) (unless I'm playing a game) most of the time it would be in the 30-39% range but now with the new update I've been seeing my ram usage shoot up to 60-65% and higher and would stick around that unless I closed centbrowser and re-opened it, then it would act normal for a few minutes or a hour or two and then do it all over again. I've messed with extensions, I've messed with settings, I've messed with flags and nothing seems to really rectify this problem.

1. There are several different process which seem to bump up in memory at random times like crazy, currently they are kinda calm as I recently restarted my browser but it is already starting to spike up slowly --

Doesn't matter what I'm doing, my computer could be sitting idle not having anything run other than centbrowser and it'll start increasing slowly, came back yesterday after being gone most of the day (so my computer was sitting idle for several hours) and my memory consumption was at like 83%. closed centbrowser and it shot back down to reasonable levels.

I think it may be some extension conflicting with 53 core.
By the way, you can unload tabs by middle click on tab list menu and our "Custom stylesheet" feature can replace Stylish.

dunno how it would be an extension because I had tried running normal version with all extensions (and flags I had turned on) disabled completely at one point and it was doing the same thing but I'll try running centbrowser in safe mode..
and yes I know you can do that now but I honestly prefer "the great suspender" for the tab unloading because I can just set and forget about it 99% of the time, and I rather use stylish than use the custom stylesheet thing in the settings which seems like the custom stylesheet only allows for one css file while I have somewhere around 15-20 different sites (and growing) changed up a ton plus I do a ton of css editing myself so I need quick access to edits for various sites and everything so yea can't really replace stylish at all for me..
It took me awhile, but I've finally found the source of the excess memory usage problem in the latest version of Centbrowser. Before installing the new version of Centbrowser, I had installed Conceiva's Diskeeper on my systems and for some reason, it was the combination of both Diskeeper and Centbrowser that caused the memory issues. I uninstalled Diskeeper from my systems and the memory issue disappeared. I'm not sure what specifically in either or both applications caused the issue, but at least I've been able to solve the problem on my systems. Thanks for your quick response and assistance!
