Can this be implemented?

Thank you.
Hi "Mioni", welcome!

Very interesting! Has the developer added animations to the Cent Browser?

Forgive my ignorance: I am really curious; What kind of animation is there?

2D or 3D animation? GIF or with an audio-video or PowerPoint presentation?

Just the animation to open a tab and close the tab.
I think it is somewhat weird if there is no tab animation.

Weird, yes, but on slow computers or virtual machines (my case), it can be useful for performances purposes.
Just a suggestion though.

In Vivaldi browser has this option to disable the animation and works very well you should take a look as it is without the animation tabs.  Biggrin

I didn't understand what you wanted until your first answer above. "In Cent Browser, tabs are opened with a special animation. Is it possible to disable this animation?"  I thought you asked. Turns out you were talking about blocking animations on web pages...

Above all, the concept of animation is very wide. There are many animation types: audio, video, audio+video, GIF, image scrolling, pop-up image and notification etc. Moreover, some are against animation; but some want to watch it. Therefore, no developer wants to block it completely.

Now let us come to Vivaldi: You wrote above "Vivaldi has the option to disable animation", but you did not specify which animation will be blocked.

Vivaldi can only block the following two animations: "Tab Muting" and "GIF (Image) Animation"

These two features are quite positive for Vivaldi; but Vivaldi also has many negative aspects like his mother Opera.

For example, in all Chromium-based browsers, you'll have access to the original Chromium settings through "Menu > Settings", but in Vivaldi you'll only have access to Vivaldi's own settings in this way. To access the original Chromium settings in Vivaldi, you need definitely to type "chrome://settings"  in the address bar and click Enter. Moreover, Vivaldi's official site and forum do not provide any information about this.

Therefore, this behavior is to try to hide the original settings from the user for malicious purposes...

As a result, Cent Browser is currently the top quality of Chromium-based browsers. We are also aware that the Cent Browser developer is not a person who is supported by Google. We hope the same success will continue from now on...

Greetings,

( For another malicious behavior of Vivaldi, see: https://www.centbrowser.com/forum/showth...p?tid=2302 )

NOTE: To prevent GIF on Chromium-based browsers  other than Vivaldi, the "Animation Policy" extension is a very suitable solution. If this is not enough (e.g. in Opera), the manual blocking feature of ad blockers [e.g. uBlock Origin, AdBlock (by getadblock.com), Adguard ] can be used.

I just asked would have put the option to disable the animation of open and close tabs.

@Mioni, I know what you want from the beginning. However, because your request is incomplete and incorrect, I didn't want to do the rudeness during I telling it to you, and I wrote above: "I didn't understand". In the meantime, to add some joke to the event, I added things like "2D, 3D animation ..." to the article. Now, there is no need for extreme courtesy after this stage.

Here's what you need to know:

* For a one-line response, a 100-line quote should not be made in the forums, because unnecessary occupancy is created.
* To get the right answer, you need to ask the question correctly and completely:

The title of the topic you start is "Disable Animation Tab". Your question is "Can this be implemented?". The sum of the two is 6 words.

  - Well, what kind of animation do you mean when you write "animation"? Do you want to block the animations such as Audio, Video, GIF, pop-up etc individually or altogether?
  - Well, why the administrator wrote you a reply "I think it is somewhat weird if there is no tab animation."?  Have you ever thought about that?

A web page in which all the animations are blocked is of course weird and it is no longer called a web page. That is all...

No, I think it has little relevance to performance.
The UI animation is highly optimized.
