Full Version: Layout and alert on download failure

First of all I would like to thank the Cent developers for giving us a terrific browser. Absolutely love it.

I know this has been talked about before in other threads but is there a way or is it possible to get the old look / layout back like before? If not, is there a way to get at least the hover images to be more square and not circles? (See images below for examples) I know that Epic Privacy Browser is capable of using the old look / layout with a newer version of Chromium. Epic is using the Chromium version 71.0.3578.98 like version 3.8.5.69 of Cent is using and you are able to use the "Normal" setting for "UI Layout for the browser's top chrome" in the chrome://flags page (although it is the old slanted tabs style and Epic is not near as good a browser that Cent is).

Also, would it be possible to get an audio alert when a download fails? I enjoy having the alert when a download is complete but sometimes while a file is downloading I check later in the downloads window only to see that the download failed. If I was alerted I may be able to restart the download of a potentially large file and save some time in the process.

Thank you for considering these requests and thanks again for the great browser that is Cent.

Thanks for your feedback.
We will check Epic Privacy Browser.
Also the sound for failed task is good suggestion, we will consider it too.
I'm surprised to seem to be the only one who kinda like the new tab shapes...

Well, there are probably people like me who have neither love nor hate to the new tab shapes .... for me it's functional, not ugly to the point where you just wanna throw the browser out the window and it is a change to the old style (that apparently a lot of people still want to hold onto as long as possible).

But then I see some issue that may be windows related (i.e., I'm on windows 10, looks ok to me, but someone on windows 7 i guess had issues)

I understand very well the point of view. I just found "extreme" to leave the software/version just for a design.
