is there any way to disable autorefresh for pages?
thank you
If you mean some sites in particular that auto-refresh for whatever reason (I haven't encountered one in years!), then I don't think there's anything to stop it without installing an extension.

Now, if you mean the browser autorefreshing inactive tabs, then disable this: chrome://flags/#automatic-tab-discarding
thanks, I've got the second disabled,
but I was referring to the first,
I don't have a problem to install an extension,
but I don't think there's a decent one,
I tried one some days ago and it didn't have any effect on the page I needed it to,
because, as I've read in the comments, it wasn't able to block all the types of refresh pages do,
so this is why I opened up this topic,
if anyone knows/uses a good one, let me know
Seems window.location.reload can't be hooked.
So there may be no perfect solution.
What a pity, I'm looking for the same feature Sad

Can you provide the URL that you want to disable autorefresh on?
I encounter this behavior on sites https://www.lemonde.fr and https://www.sciencesetavenir.fr/. After a while the pages are reloaded. If I don't have Internet connection at this time I lose the content replaced by the lack of connection error.

This looks like Tab Discarding.
Have you enabled "Purge memory at intervals of" chrome://settings/cbOptimization in or chrome://flags/#automatic-tab-discarding?
