If I have a search engine added on chrome://settings/searchEngines, I want it to be suggested on top always, for easier usage.

How it is now:
If I haven't visited the site in 3 months, it is not suggested as a search until I type the full domain.
If it is on the history, but I often visit other pages than the root, it suggest these other pages first.

My suggestion:
Promote search keywords so they always appear and always appear first.

You can just change the keywords. I use Y for Youtube. So I type y & press tab/space. Then enter my search query.

Suggestions use only default search engine.
If your newly added search engine is not default, it will not be used for suggestions.
Besides default search engine, suggestions also come from history and bookmarks.
