1) When you click the middle mouse button in the middle of the tab, the tab is not closed, instead the last closed tab is reopened.

2) The search box on New Tab doesn't have an option to choose Google as search provider.

As i use more, i'll update this post.

Isn't a bug, but a request:

can you make the newtab page, on the section "most visited", equal to the old version?

The old version presented with thumbnails of the most visited sites. The new one has only icons.

Chromium removed thumbnails from the new tab page, together with a lot of related source code.
This is an important reason why we need to refactor the new tab page.
