Full Version: [Suggestion] Eliminate white flash on restore and when closing last tab

Chromium has done well in recent years to eliminate white flashes on page load, but Cent's custom options don't seem to take advantage. When reloading a closed tab, or when closing the last tab, there's quick white flashes. Be a lot cooler if there wasn't.

Example
Are you using Stylus to change the background color from White to Black?
But the default and initial background color of web page is still white.
The extension script is injected after web page initialization.
You may try changing "Use custom background color for web pages" in chrome://settings/cbBrowsing to dark color.
Yeah, I use Stylus and Dark Reader, but they shouldn't have anything to do with these flashes. "Use custom background color for web pages" is like using a sledgehammer on a thumbtack, and creates more problems than it fixes IME.

I imagine whichever method you're using for the initial redirect is the problem. In Chromium, if there's a delay for whatever reason, links opened in a new tab flash whichever color is defined in the theme for "ntp_background". These redirects should do the same.

You are right, initial background of web pages is not "ntp_background".
It is deeper level in the architecture.
