Alright, keeping everyone up to date. a functional 87 version with GDI rendering has been achieved. I will be releasing this on Github along with the compiled binaries for those who just want it to work. Next, I will be setting up a CI for compiling new versions as they ship. the final step will be integrating MacType/FreeType rendering within Chromium itself.

Unfortunately, I made the jump to Microsoft Edge. Cent Browser has a lot of vulnerabilities which are not patched. "#edge-enhance-text-contrast" makes DirectWrite some what bearable, but still not clear as GDI... I can live with it for now...
Maybe I will return to Cent in the future.

With "#edge-enhance-text-contrast" enabled and "Chrome Font Rendering Enhancer" extension installed (chrome Web Store), the combined eff
ect on Edge browser webpages are as good as Cent browser with DirectWrite disabled.
However
the Edge browser UI is not affected and doesn't improve.

You can open the .exe file with 7-zip and extract the folder

But will the files be in only one folder or will there be files elsewhere?
My thought is this - to make it portable and no files are created outside the folder from which it was launched. Therefore no files, no folders in "\AppData\Local" or something like that.

Many thanks for the work. PGO support is planned in the future? Tests show that this release is compiled without the PGO.
