Gtanadam disabled it in version 96 of Chromium.

I switched to Vivialdi on all my devices and use mactype (font render [freetype] for Windows), so it no need DirectWrite anymore for me. Try it, i hope it will be helpful for you.

You can change Policies for any Chromium based browser to change font render "style", just change Vivaldi for name which browser do you use. But i don't sure bout it

With the very fast kernel updating rate of catsxp (now is using 97.0.4692.50), I don't think it can afford the time to insert directwrite disable function to its browser.
Have to keep to Cent though it is likely to stop updating any more. Sympathy for those who can't live without directwrite disablity.
I think Catsxp IS the new Cent!!!
Look at the suspiciously familiar features in the latest build!!!

No. Until it will have directwrite disable feature this is one of many Chrome clones with some additional features and
not replacement for Cent.
Can we dream of a new version for Christmas, or for the 1st anniversary without updates?
