Will I be able to use chrome themes? I hate that in the original Chrome in latest versions I can't use my favorite themes as they are "old" crx ones.
I'd suggest go to softpedia and download it from there. Try it. I've been using as my main browser for a week....my only concern is that we can't yet disable directwrite, which I like the look of better.
I use a theme from the chrome repository that I've used for years (not sure what you call old), tabs shrink with the window size and how many tabs you have....but I haven't found I can set min/max widths for it. You can do that with the bookmarks. no sense in seeing my own customization...I am most concerned with built in mouse gestures (excellent) and ad blocking (very good, needs to allow white/blacklists which I don't see yet.
It's still a work in progress, but I personally think a very good one. I've emailed the author asking if he's doing a forum...he said not yet because it's basically only him. He said to email him suggestions/bugs for now. I've sent a few minor ones for now (I asked about the disabling of directwrite and he said "For security reasons, GDI support will not be considered yet" [I slightly translated for proper English]. He will add a request I asked for (add a 115% zoom since as current goes 100, 110, 125...etc). 110 is too small, 125 too large! Always used 115% as base with Cent.

That may not be necessary because the Cent Forum has now become a Catsxp Forum.

Apparently Google charges for use of the voice API, but that could be bullsh*t, I'm not sure! Extension maybe?

CatsxpsyncV2, or something like that..., but, it doesn't work yet.
Catsxp just updated to 2.3.6 and I see "disable directwrite" is available in flags.
Not sure if Catsxp author did this (I requested by email) or it cam with a chromiun base update...
I don't know if it works for all, but my issue was simple! Without "disable-directwrite" available a weather map "wundermaps" lost it's navigation fonts but now if I enable "disable-directwrite", the fonts are good again!
I know a lot of people have been affected by the change and won't leave Cent....try it in Catsxp and see if it does what you like!!
I am just a user...emailed the author of Catsxp for some questions and requests...not affiliated with it in any way, but like you all, trying to get same look/feel of Cent but updated!!

This is fantastic!!!! One of the best features of Cent now in Catsxp. The difference is day and night after disabling Directwrite! well, now it's definitely a worthy Cent replacement.

Yes! I can switch to Catsxp and
nearly get every features I needed. Now with these great similarities between Cent and Catsxp, I just wonder if the guys behind these browsers are the same one or they are closely related. Maybe he has to use another identity or to hide behind the scene for some particular reasons, you just can't understand what is going on as they are in China. Don't you think it is a bit odd the Cent forum allows it to become a Catsxp forum?
