I was having difficulty logging in, captcha not showing up, SMTP not working.

But there should be no captcha during logging, captcha is only shown during registering.
And what is "SMTP not working" referring?
Do you mean you can't receive the E-mail used to reset password?

- when wrong login too many times vbb will show captcha.
- smtp does not send mail to me.
