Hi CentBrowser team,

the new "Fast save image" feature is great, but is missing something IMO. Indeed, when using it, CentBrowser does not use the original name of the pictures but takes the website's name instead.

ie : I'm browsing facebook and using fast save image, pictures will be named facebook.jpg, facebook 1.jpg, etc.

This is really annoying and disturbing. Any chance you can change this behavior and use the real original picture's names ? (Maxthon, for example, can do it)

Thanks for reading.
+1 from me.)
Thanks for your suggestions. We did it this way because the original image name is unreadable in most cases. But it is normal in some cases. So it is hard to get perfect. We will try to find a better way.
ps : I took facebook as an example, but this is not the best one I choose. I know this website uses really bad picture naming (probably to annoy users who want to save some of them...)

but in a lot of websites, pictures are correctly named, and should be saved with their original names (like CentBrowser does when using right click > save image). Hope you will find a solution to this (little) problem. I'm sure you can, the extension "I'm a gentleman" does it nicely, so this is possible Wink
Finally we decided to change it this way:
Use web page title by default, use original image name when CTRL or SHIFT key is held down.(Ctrl+Alt+Mouse Click)

kinda don't understand= when is "dafault" happening?
If I understood correctly :

default : ALT+Left click > image saved with the name of the web page
alternative : CTRL+ALT+Left click or SHIFT+ALT+Left click > image saved with its original name

@CentBrowser team : nice, but it should be even better if the user can choose the default behavior. I think a lot of websites use standard image naming and would work perfectly with original filenames. Only a few websites use stupid scripts to display images...

i support the proposition to choose behaviour. imo, it could be grate if it be like this:
check mark in options "Save images with page title names"
if checked: alt+l-click = image saved with the name of the web page,  ctrl+alt+l-click = image saved with its original name
if uncheked: alt+l-click =  image saved with its original name,  ctrl+alt+l-click = image saved with the name of the web page
Nice suggestion, we will add that option. And use CTRL/SHIFT+alt+l-click to toggle original name and page title.
great idea rey

and thanks CentBrowser team !
