  [suggestion] mouse gestures
Posted by: logan - 12-02-2017, 08:53 AM - Forum: Bugs & Suggestions - Replies (3)

In mouse gestures, you can not select a new window in incognito mode (not to be confused with a private tab). Developers could you implement this item?

  Auto-hide favorites on touchscreen
Posted by: SpringsTS - 11-30-2017, 10:16 AM - Forum: Bugs & Suggestions - Replies (1)

Hello,

Not really a bug, more a little disagreement I met when using Cent on my tablet.

To get screen place, I checked the option to auto-hide the Favs toolbar (nice improving from Chrome btw!)

While this option works perfectly with keyboard and mouse, I have the following problem with a touchscreen only:

  1. When I want to show the toolbar, I press the address bar, no problem.
  2. But when I opened my fav, the fav bar stay opened and hides the top of the site.
  3. Touching en empty space of the interface, or on the site, doesn't work, the only solution I found was to open a new tab then closing it. In this case the fav bar hides itself.

Thank you in advance if you can look into it.

[suggestion] new gesture: go to parent url
Posted by: lian00 - 11-29-2017, 07:50 PM - Forum: Bugs & Suggestions - Replies (1)

Hello again, I suggest adding for gesture "go to parent URL".

Example : https://www.centbrowser.com/forum/newthread.php?fid=4 >gesture> https://www.centbrowser.com/forum/ >gesture> https://www.centbrowser.com/

It’s very convenient when you browse into sites from a page found with a search result and in archive pages.

Asking About a Possible Memory Leak
Posted by: jeffhere - 11-29-2017, 04:22 PM - Forum: Bugs & Suggestions - Replies (11)

I have been using CentBrowser for the last couple of weeks. Really like it.

Using Slimjet previously (still, for comparison vs CentBrowser).

What I have been noticing is Cent is not as tight on memory as Slimjet is. I've run side by side tests, using each browser. Same extensions (except SJ has 1 more), same exact tabs. Nothing different at all.

Posted screens of each task manager to show at start (after a minute or so of idle after start) and then 100 minutes later (I have other time like 50 min but not needed for the pics).

Bottom line is Slimjet stayed very memory tight, not much change.

CentBrowser was higher to start, then kept climbing.

I think it points to a memory leak but am not sure...hope this makes sense. Ends up Cent is growing over time!

this one is at start

this one is after 100 min.

  Very very requested

I, and all other users I believe, really need Cent browser has capability to always put a new bookmark to the first ten top of the bookmark list, so all the ready existing one is dropped down below it, but all the above remain untouched.
If possible in setting we can have option: always put bookmark to the :

1st
2nd
3rd
4th
5th
..
..
10th

rank of the bookmark list

[Suggestion] Mouse Gesture to "Email tab"
Posted by: jeffhere - 11-27-2017, 03:35 AM - Forum: Bugs & Suggestions - Replies (4)

A gesture to email current tab (using current email program).

I imagine it would would be using the 'copy title and url' action for a gesture and sending it to email (thru mailto??.

A nice option is to allow the user to to the email Title/Subject Prefix ....like "jeffhere says: " or whichever text a user inputs. Then the tab title would be the remainder of the email title/subject.

I looked but did not find anything here on this one. It would be similar to the action in Smartup, a good free gesture program...but using CentBrowser, I don't need the extension.
