  Super Drag new feature
Posted by: hemlok89 - 03-19-2019, 05:29 AM - Forum: General Discuss - Replies (1)

Hello,

I just love the fact that Cent browser has the super drag feature. I often use Firefox for work purpose & use an extension called glitter drag. Of course being an web extension, it has some more advanced features. But one prominent feature I miss in Cent is reverse image search. In glitter drag, I can drag an image to reverse search it on TinEye or google images. I would love to have that feature in super drag.

Glitter Drag is MIT license. Glitter Drag GitHub

  Issues with closing Cent Browser
Posted by: tom73 - 03-16-2019, 11:55 AM - Forum: General Discuss - Replies (1)

I close all but one of my tabs and click the red X in the top right hand corner of my screen (normal way to close applications) and Cent closes.
But when I open Cent again, I am faced with a message saying that Cent did not close down properly last time.
So how, exactly, am I supposed to close Cent Browser so this annoying message doesn't appear every time I open it.

  portability and "sensitive" files
Posted by: patrickdrd - 03-13-2019, 09:50 AM - Forum: General Discuss - Replies (39)

in my opinion these files should be handled with care when syncing the browser to another computer:

for cent browser the files:
\PortableApps\CentBrowserPortable\User Data\*\Cookies*
\PortableApps\CentBrowserPortable\User Data\*\Extension Cookies*
(cookies in general work, but not all of them, so after the initial transfer you can opt to leave them out)

for chrome the following:

\PortableApps\GoogleChromePortable\Data\profile\*\Cookies*
\PortableApps\GoogleChromePortable\Data\profile\*\Extension Cookies*
(same as before, but in chrome the cookies situtation is much worse,
most of them don't work after syncing)

\PortableApps\GoogleChromePortable\Data\profile\*\Login Data*
\PortableApps\GoogleChromePortable\Data\profile\*\Sync Data
\PortableApps\GoogleChromePortable\Data\profile\*\Web Data*
\PortableApps\GoogleChromePortable\Data\profile\Local State
(these break sync after being overwritten in chrome, no such problem in cent)

[Beta] Closing tabs causes the browser to lose focus
Posted by: papadoc - 03-12-2019, 12:45 PM - Forum: Bugs & Suggestions - Replies (6)

What the title says. I keep seeing the inactive titlebar background when tabs are closed by any method.

  Disable tab list menu?

I don't like having a new arrow in my titlebar for a feature which I know I'll never use. Is there any way to get rid of it?

This looks bad especially for those using windows 32 bit -

Please do an emergency Beta update of Cent fixing this vulnerability.

Hallo,

ich wollte mal nachfragen, ob für Linux eine Version geplant ist. Ich bin recht zufrieden mit dem Browser, aber hauptsächlich mit Linux unterwegs und kann ihn daher nicht nutzen.

Danke fürs lesen.

  Omnibox Swap Title and URL
Posted by: Shyboy - 03-08-2019, 03:23 PM - Forum: Bugs & Suggestions - Replies (3)

Ignoring the worst UI ever seen in a browser (I'm still waiting for an alternate one).

WHY IN THE NINE HEAVENS ABOVE - They changed the omnibox? Now you start writing the url it shows the title then the URL waaaaay later.

Look at how awful it is in another language.

Can the Height be fixed and the swap made as default or at least as flag/option? I'm not 7 feet tall, or weighting 250 pounds my fingers aren't so big so why is this UI soo enourmous, why the heck the new UI is so big, even in a FHD monitor the whole UI is a waste of screen space, even for the 'touchy' feels is horrid the whole wasting. I'm not mad at the design nor the tab look, but I'm mad at the waste. The new tabbar height is now near the same height of the old Favbar and Navigation Bar combined.

Sorry for the rant, I know it's not a Cent issue, but it's easier for it to be fixed here than there.
