Bookmark Question (width of toolbar names) & other Qs
Posted by: Slake - 12-22-2018, 10:21 PM - Forum: General Discuss - Replies (3)

When I type over a certain amount of characters for a folder on the bookmark toolbar it fades out, even if the toolbar is not full. Is there any way to increase this character limit ?

Also is there any way to use the bookmark manager that was around a few years back until Chrome changed it to the new grey/blue one ?

Finally, can I safely upgrade Cent in future without worrying that I will be forced on to the Chrome design ? As I changed last week to Cent because of the tab change design in Chrome (when they removed the option to change back from the flags settings) and I don't want to risk upgrading and being forced to change to it.

Thanks !!

  Two problems if open links
Posted by: truefriend-cz - 12-22-2018, 06:19 AM - Forum: Bugs & Suggestions - Replies (1)

Hi. I have two problems.:

1. If i am click on any link on webpage by mouse right button then show context menu but paralel action is open link.
(before this problem open context menu only but no open link).

2. If pressed CTRL button and click mouse left button then not open link as background tab but open in actual tab standart link as if no pressed CTRL.
(CRTL key is ok, CTRL+C, CTRL+V and any operations in Cent no problem).

EDIT: Problem not in Cent Browser but Extension ImTranslator

  [Bug] Translation never works.

The icon in the URL bar offering to translate foreign language pages always fails with the message "This page could not be translated".

Most recently tried it on this page: http://www.spiegel.de/politik/ausland/to...41918.html

  Desktop icons rearranged
Posted by: CBman - 12-17-2018, 12:06 PM - Forum: General Discuss - Replies (26)

This is a weird one and one I haven't seen before.
This morning when I started Cent, immediately after the home page is loaded my desktop icons are rearranged and all moved to the left-hand side.  I assumed this was a Windows one-off quirk.
I have a utility that restores the desktop so I used that and everything looked fine.
Until I started Cent again and it did the same thing, all the desktop icons moved to the left.

So I closed Cent and restored my desktop.
I then started Internet Explorer 11, no problem.
I started Firefox, no problem.
I started Chrome, no problem.
I started Cent, desktop was screwed up,  which is very annoying.
I haven't updated Cent recently.

Has anybody any idea what this could be?
Thanks.

EDIT:
Sorry forgot to say:
Cent Version 3.7.2.33 (Official Build) (64-bit) (Chromium 70.0.3538.110)
Windows 7 Home Premium

I see the otion in CB settings that I can set purge memory intervals. I currently have it disabled. Should I have this enabled? I have 16 gb ram and seldom use multiple programs simountaneously, and never go out of ram. will this feaure be any benefical for me? and what is the prefered interval time? 10 min? 30 min? [Image: smile.png]

  Replace Cent icons
Posted by: ProudCentUser - 12-16-2018, 09:14 PM - Forum: Tips & Tricks - Replies (1)

Hello!

Please  tll me how to replace icons in Cent Browser with Chrome icons? It was easy before the Tabs update, using Resource Hacker. Now it seems the icons groups are rearranged.

I just want to make it look like Chrome, but so that when my friends ask me how I managed to enable some cool specific settings (like rolling out bookmarks bar etc), I would answer them that this is not Chrome, it's the best browser - Cent! Biggrin

  Material Design in Chromium 71
Posted by: Versicarius - 12-14-2018, 07:36 PM - Forum: General Discuss - Replies (57)

Will it be possible to keep the material design flag when CentBrowser updates to Chromium 71 so that we can keep the 'angled' tabs? They removed the flag to disable the material design in Chrome 71. Thanks.
