I understand the design to hide tabs if I open too many tabs, but the list even includes the tabs that are being displayed, which make the filtering quite difficult.
Thus, I wonder if there's any extension or option which makes the tabs work like a normal chromium browser?

You can change it by disabling the option:
Configuration - Tab options - Minimum tab width (px):
