video tearing and drop frames with HW acceleration
#1
Hey guys, hopefully someone can help my with this.
Can't remember how many versions back of CB, start to notice drop frames on youtube. the problem fix by disabling HW acceleration. two month ago i upgrade my pc (MB, CPU, fresh install) and this problem was still present. I install chrome, same problem, and also in safe mode.

In this last version of CB i also notice occasional tearing with HW acceleration disable.
If you need any more information just ask me. thanks

Firstly, please enable HW acceleration and try upgrading your video card driver.
If the issue persists, try appending this command line to "Other settings"->"Startup command line":
--disable-direct-composition --disable-gpu-vsync

all drivers were up to date.
those command lines made the trick. when before i have constant frame drops, now its 1 or 2 only when entering, exit full screen and scrolling.
ill keep an eye if i see tearing.
thanks for your help.
