The current update of Cent Browser is a Beta version. I hope the problem I've experienced with installing extensions through the Chrome Web Store wil be solved with the next Cent Browser update.

For me, the way to install extensions in this Cent Browser version, right now with this Beta version is by going around it, loading an unpacked extension from an updated alternative chromium based profile or by using a CRX file.

The URL "clients2.google.com" is the download server for webstore, and it doesn't mean you need to specify anything yourself. What I'm trying to say is that what your screenshot shows closely resembles situations previously encountered by users who were unable to connect properly to clients2.google.com domain using their current network settings or DNS resolution methods (which may be blocked due certain regional restrictions).

You can perform a simple test: when you try accessing "https://clients2.google.com", do you see the 404 page returned by Google?

You only need to copy the old User Data directory to the specified location.

Visit chrome://version in your browser and look at "Profile Path" to find the User Data directory.

Thank you for your feedback. We will investigate the cause of this issue.

Thank you for this message; it has been very helpful.

When I tried to accessing "https://clients2.google.com", I saw the message:
This site can’t be reached
The web page at https://clients2.google.com/ might be temporarily down or it may have moved permanently to a new web address.
ERR_QUIC_PROTOCOL_ERROR

Next, I checked my Windows Host file and I saw some entries for clients2.google.com in it, and I removed them.

Then I reloaded "https://clients2.google.com", I saw the message:
404. That’s an error, returned by Google.

Next, I attempted to install an extension through the Chrome Web Store and it succeeded immediately.

Before I removed the entries for clients2.google.com in my Windows Host file, as described above, the extension CRX Extractor/Downloader wasn't working properly and it has been a mystery to me for quite some time. But by removing the entries for clients2.google.com from my Windows Host that problem is also solved.
