Dark Chrome Web Store without sign-in or nags
#1
Download custom.css and put it in your Cent folder, or anywhere convenient I guess.

Go to chrome://settings/cbCustomCss and enable the option, then select the custom CSS file.

Thank you for sharing; it keeps the web store from being too harsh on the eyes late at night.  Heart

Nice, this is a simple solution. Being able to use a darker Web Store without extra sign-in prompts or nags sounds much better, especially when browsing late at night. Thanks for sharing!

Yeah, the "install Chrome" nags are malicious, given the fact that they're shown on every single page load. The dark theme only being persistent when signed in is also a dick-move.

Every time I had to visit the web store, it was aggravating, so now I suppose it's a little bit of the opposite. The dark theme is just their own code, with all the variables copied from devtools. Today I added transparent backgrounds on images, since apparently, their own dark theme leaves them with white backgrounds which flash on page load.

I updated the link in my first comment. Also used a different paste-dump site with a better expiration policy.
