Switch tabs by mouse wheel in the tab bar ON TABS ONLY
#1
Just update to Version 4.3.9.227.

I can switch tabs by scrolling mouse wheel on active or inactive tabs. HOWEVER, if I move my mouse to the rest of the tab bar, I cannot switch tabs anymore, which had been worked in previous version.

And, yes, "Switch tabs by scrolling with the mouse wheel in the tab bar" is on.

I wonder if this is a bug, or just my fault.

Sorry but we can't reproduce this issue.
Have you tried running the browser in safe mode?

Yes. It's the same in Incognito Mode.

This function is working if the mouse pointer is hovering over the New tab button (the plus sign).
It will still work if I move 50 pixels to the right.
If I go further, the function stops.

I've also tried downgrade to v4.2.10.171, and this function works perfectly as intended.

Safe mode is not Incognito Mode.
You can press Alt+F to show the main menu, and there is a menu command "Restart in safe mode" there.
Click it to enter safe mode.

Thank you for the guidance!
I can switch tabs with the mouse wheel in safe mode normally.
But the disability in normal mode still bug me in daily operation.

Since you are unable to recognize and reproduce this issue,
I don't see this bug will be fixed in the near future.

The mouse-wheel-switching feature is the most unique one of CentBrowser.
I have not found any alternatives in the market.

I have no choice but to downgrade to v4.2 for good.
If anyone experiences the same issue,
this is the only way.

have you installed any Chrome theme?
If so please try to reset it.

Yes, I am using the theme Slate made by the Chrome team.

I will try to disable it and make a report soon. :-)

1. Disabling theme does not help.
2. In Portable v4.3.9.238, the feature works as intended.
3. In 64-bit installer v4.3.9.238 (no addon enabled), with or without a Chrome theme, the bug persists.

For (3), it is not a clean install. I still need the bookmarks, browsing history, existing settings, etc. Since (2) is working well, maybe there are some conflicts with the USER DATA? Just my two cents.

Maybe you can try resetting your Settings in chrome://settings/reset
It will disable all your extensions but not delete them.
