Going open source

Since Cent Browser is a derivative of Chromium, a large part of it is licensed through the MIT,  BSD and GPL variants. This means that it is mandatory for Cent browser developers to release the source code (not just an option).

Besides this, it will create more trust towards Cent Browser. While it is an excellent piece of software , there is no way for me to tell if there are any gaping security flaws and privacy-invading behavior in Cent Browser. At least the Google stuff is well known.
