да меню лютая жесть, но блин я хоть чето накопал, меня очень волновали закладки на напанели закладок а если в ключить компакт реж, то уже получше.

но да контекстное меню лютый трешак они бы его ещё во весь экран сделали ДИБИЛЫ.

вот как я всегда считал дибилы есть в каждой стране и всё везде одинаково.

If the OS has light mode for apps, then even on the dark theme of the Сent, popup download window is always white. This is a bug!

Пишу тем Кого что то не устраивает На одном из уважаемых мной форумов постоялец ответил цитирую 
Я просто ищу корни таких ожиданий, что что-то можно вернуть как было. Не в системе, а в выбранной программе, в точном браузере, построенном в другом браузере. Откуда такие ожидания кастомизации, внутреннего вида меню настроек?

Просто я тоже хочу Оперу 9.5 или хотя бы Оперу 12 с ее кастомизацией, но понимаю, что это невозможно.
Поэтому я нашел себе замену в виде цены с некоторыми расширениями, и пока меня это устраивает.

Просто не первый раз в обсуждении данного браузера звучит "а как вернуть....?". Непонятные корни таких ожиданий.
и как это меняет картину? Эти версии браузера построены на кардинально разных версиях Хрома. Они сами по себе наследуют большинство элементов этого самого материнского устройства. 

Не смотрите 5.1 и 5.2, это исключительно нумерация разработчика Cent.

Пользователи долго жалуются на старую версию "ядра", а потом начинают жаловаться на новые версии новой версии этой самой "ядра". Будто сами не просили этого. Примите тот факт, что Cent - это надстройка, не полностью авторский продукт.


От себя спасибо разработчику, что не оставил проект, вернулся возможность поменять иконки папок, мусора в
 C:\Program Files больше нет .

Hello. Thanks for your work, but on Win 7 x64 version of CentBrowser_5.2.1168.54_x64_Portable it works very poorly. For a very long time, it switches between the tabs, even active, any actions take place very slowly, where everything works instantly on the previous version, you have to wait 2-3 seconds on this. I specially deleted all the extensions, I thought that they interfere, but it did not help. There are more than 100 inactive tabs in my session, everything works fine on the old version, but on the new version of the browser, if there are many tabs, it slows down very much, although I have 16 GB and the processor can easily cope with the old version of the browser. While I returned to the previous version, it is impossible to use the new one for me.

Hi. I'm on Windows 7 x64 too, and I can confirm all of this. I even registered there in hope that developers see it!
Even the "stable" version 5.2 is very laggy and impossible for normal using. Opening new tab, switching between tabs, opening sites from the new tab pins - all of this very slow, gives 0.5-2s lag, and accompanied by high CPU load. Also, tabs animations have 1-2 FPS, maximizing browser from taskbar accompanied with 0.5-1s of black screen. After 1-2 mins of site reading, opening RMB-context menus go very laggy too.

The more tabs are open, the more these lags appear, and of course, there were absolutely no such problems on the previous 5.1 version!

There are NO any suspicious processes in task manager, I even tried to start completely new profile. Nothing helps. Looks like the hardware acceleration is just broken, although I even tried to force it via #ignore-gpu-blocklist flag.

P.S. Also, setting of dark or light theme in browser just stopped theme inheritance for all sites, which absolutely bad for me.
I've always turned on the dark theme in my browser before, and I knew that all supported sites would pick up on this setting and will be dark. Now it's an absolute mess.
Looks like in the Chrome 132 core just deleted all older OS-related optimizations comparing v118, and now support for Win 7-8.1 is deficient.

Please make a hotfix or beta, because if 5.1 version will start to have compatibility issues, I'll just switch other browsers, which I really don't want to do ...

I use a Windows theme with custom title bars & custom min/max/close buttons in the title bar.

On previous versions, I only had to set #windows11-mica-titlebar to Enabled in chrome://flags to make the title bar in Cent the same as other windows.

With this version however, my custom title bar is not enabled with this flag switch. Does anyone have any ideas on how to solve this?

For what it's worth: I've also tried with and without the following arguments, with no success:

--disable-windows10-custom-titlebar
--enable-features=Windows11MicaTitlebar

вопросы не в том, чтобы вернуть как было, или вернуться к старому. вопросы подняты в связи с тем, что что-то сделано не вполне удобно. а это разные вещи.
если старое меню гораздо комфортнее, почему бы не попросить его вернуть или сделать удобным?

1. Uninstall the updated version
2. Download the 2024 version and install it: https://www.centbrowser.com/history.html
3. Go offline, launch the browser, then Settings > More > Uncheck "Enable Cent Browser Update"
