Unlimited History Instead of 3 Month
#1
It has happened again and again that I try to find a url by typing on the bar or searching on the history, but I can't find it because it was deleted after 3 months by chromium.

Would be nice for that not to happen - if history were not deleted.

There is already a workaround.

Yes, I use this, but it still isn't as good as having it native. As an example, user can force the CSS a:visited with a custom color to know which links he has already visited on a site, but if the history is gone in 3 months, then this can't be relied on.

Just saying, sometimes an in-place solution seems better than a workaround.

This issue is easy to change, what we concern is the impact on performance.
History database is fully loaded on browser startup.

Maybe having an option (with a warning) to choose how many months we want to keep in history.

The default would be 3 months like now but the user would be able to enter any number or forever but would be warned about some performance issues that could happen when selecting a high number.

An option and a warning about performance would be great.
Some people (on slower devices) may even want to reduce the duration to make their browser start faster.

OK, we will consider your suggestion.

I actually always import / backup my files from C:\Users\USER\AppData\Local\CentBrowser\User Data\Default and than sort by size.

* Favicons
* History
* Cookies
* Bookmarks

Why would history automatically be deleted? That is silly, especially since the option in settings exist to clear history after each session or whatever.

Generally "History" file increases faster than other files.
