Tab Groups Lazy Loading.
#1
Cent already has quite a lot offeatures that Chrome doesn't have, so how about improvimg their Tab Groups concept with control of loading?
Gropus obviosly expected to have a lot of tabs, which means huge lags when loading such groupsand all tabs loading at ones = adding lazy loading would make process much more comfortable.

I have Lazy Loading enabled and noticed, that when closing browser while being on tab in group - next time i start browser only that tab is loaded, while group is kept un-loaded as any other non-grouped tabs. So i presume it's quite possible to add same option when group is opened from tab bar icon. Or am i wrong and that's too different?..

Loading 1 tab out of group of say 40 tabs, is defenitely faster and more comfortable than waiting for all 40 to load.  Rolleyes

Because they are two different actions, closing and restarting the browser means restoring the recent tabs; while opening through the group button means creating a new set of tabs. However, the current browser only opens new tabs in the state of the active tab when handling them.

Hm, for me as a mere user, restoring and launching group feels basically the same action, 'cause new tabs created in both cases, but what can i know.

Then how about this: middle clich on tabs has an action to un-load clicked tabs = add an ability for middle click action on groups header do the same effect for whole group. That would be at least something.

I'm just trying to find normal way to use groups. They indeed are pretty useful to accumulate similar tabs, but that inevitably raises number of items in group and makes launching from tab bar a horror.
Currently, i'm forced to to manually disable wi-fi for whole system > launch group > when all tabs stop trying to load > enable wi-fi again = that's idiotic and totally not comfortable, but much better than have a hang for several minutes till dozens of tabs being loaded.(especially since i don't need them loaded)
You may propose me to never close groups - but that is impossible too = even "non-loaded tabs" eat resources(especially when there are dozens of those) and Cent gets slow as shit, constantly hanging with annoying messages to Wait, even while seemingly only couple of tabs loaded.

Maybe this extension can help you alleviate this problem: https://github.com/dragonish/Tab-Group-Auto-Sleep
