Change of search engine address doesn't stay

Change of the search engine address doesn't stay. For example, if I change google.com to google.co.uk, it gets saved, but when I highlight some word/sentence and right click it doesn't open in google.co.uk, but in the country I am in at the moment. Is this a problem that can be solved, or is it a Google matter?

Yes, it is Google matter not a browser behavior.
You can set your preferred location in your Google account settings.
