Fail to load sites on startup
#1
Hello! I have my browser automatically opening facebook, gmail and youtube when I open the browser but about 50% of the time the sites fail to load properly, so I have to manually refresh them. Any possible fix to this?

Hi,

if "lazy session loading" is enabled in parameters (ON by default), then it's the normal behavior of the browser (it loads a tab only when you click on it)

if it's disabled, then it's not normal.

Yes, badablek is right.
Does it show gray background and no content at all?
Does this issue exist all the time or just in the last version?

Yes for all versions. I had this problem for long time. I've always had "Lazy session loading" ON by default. You think disabling it might fix this issue?

I don't think it shows a grey background. It's just for example with gmail. It don't load in my emails. The loading bar just stops but after I hit the refresh button its all good.

edit: it actually happend now with lazy session loading disabled also. Here is a picture of how it sometimes will look like:

Have you tried disabling Ublock Origin extension?

it seems to be some bad filters on Ublock origin.
already had this kind of behavior after some filters were auto-updated (unbreak, privacy). This is not the first time (and not the last one) that bad filters break websites.

Thanks guys! I can try disabling that for a while. See if it helps. But I can't live without a adblocker tho ^^ any other suggestion on another adblocker?

I set > On startup > Continue where you left off

I close all tabs and exit Cent... later on when I open Cent, it opens all tabs again.. It never respected me with this thing, till I turned off "Enable lazy session loading" !

Update: If I used Ctrl+W to close the tabs then exited Cent... Next time I find Cent restores those closed tabs recently by that shortcut key!
