For now you may try appending --cb-disable-account-consistency to "Startup command line", but we can't assure you this will work forever.

didn't work with the switch either,
today sync paused again..

so let's continue on this complex issue of portability and syncing, which would require a thesis in order to understand..

anyway, I delivered my windows 10 pc and
since some days I have both pc's side-by-side and
every day I'm transferring/syncing both pc's (with my home laptop),
with these files excluded:

Code:

\PortableApps\CentBrowserPortable\User Data\*\Cookies*

\PortableApps\CentBrowserPortable\User Data\*\Extension Cookies*

\PortableApps\CentBrowserPortable\User Data\*\Login Data*

\PortableApps\CentBrowserPortable\User Data\*\Preferences

\PortableApps\CentBrowserPortable\User Data\*\Secure Preferences

\PortableApps\CentBrowserPortable\User Data\*\Sync Data

\PortableApps\CentBrowserPortable\User Data\*\Web Data*

windows 10 cent worked almost instantly, I only had to login once I think,

well, almost every day, if not every day, I had to login to the windows 7 cent,
while in windows 10 it was working smoothly every day without having to login anywhere!!

also, I changed the whole hardware for both pc's (i.e. I swapped them) today and
here's what happened:
win10 required a login and many cookies broke!
win7 worked without any intervention!

so the subject of portability and syncing when it comes to chrome and chromium is
interesting, full of surprises and it needs investigation
(while it's too boring in firefox, because it works no matter what, from where, etc)
Biggrin

Only Google sync was broken, or all your login websites(for example, this forum) were broken?

google sync and some sites, not all of them,
I've noticed that some sites are sensitive to such changes, if you want I can give examples,
this forum wasn't, I don't think it's in this category of the sensitive

Does the last portable version(http://static.centbrowser.cn/installer_3...rtable.exe) have this Cookie issue?

yes, I'm running the latest portable, which is:
Version 4.0.9.112 (Official Build) (32-bit) (portable) (Chromium 74.0.3729.169)

(the link you provided is 3.9.2.45)

also, please note that I'm copying user data files and
lately I've decided to include the "local state" files,
because they contain the "chrome://flags" that I'm changing
(because they are changing) often,
and I don't want to write down/remember which I change
in order to change them to the other computers too,
I don't know if this file causes such issues

this is also a problem of cent browser being left behind one or two versions,
because the new flags are announced almost immediately after each new chrome version is released,
so I would have to remember what has changed in order to change to cent when it reaches that version

these files (the "local state" ones) aren't in text format either in order to be compared

Can yo provide the URL of a website which always has this kind of issue?

at least today there was some consistency:
both cent and chrome were signed out of sync, from both windows 7 and windows 10 computers (i.e. =4 browsers),
good job google!
