Buy a new translator if you really saw anywhere that I call Yandex the only site that uses it. I'm talking about Yandex as the only example you've given. If you have nothing better to do, well, show me at least 10 of them, if there are «many such sites». I'm sure it won't be a problem.

The trick is that these patchnotes were written for such easy-going weathervanes like you. On their own, they aren't authoritative, and neither are those site devs who headlong stuff their sites with useless "progressive" functionality.

Well, actually it's there, you might need just to enable it in the flags. There's not that much (like, nothing) we're missing. C'mon, we can't have the latest one, it's just impossible, deal with it or choose another browser.

Or have you disabled DirectWrite in normal mode?

I tried turning off DirectWrite, I think it made the font less weird. But it causes some other errors:
- The font in the tab bar becomes fragmented and odd.
- Characters in the "Code" tab in leetcode.com disappear randomly.

You need to use --no-sandbox in Startup Command line (chrome://settings/cbOtherOptions)

After disabling DirectWrite, have you tried disabling all extensions?
And you can try using it together with MacType.
