I'm on the same boat mate! I'm still using Cent, and so far everything I access is working. I don't care much about security because I know what I'm doing, and of course, I still keep coming here hoping that one day there will be an update, but the chances are probably zero

No, because it won't cover the holes in its security. It also won't stop those extensions no longer supporting the Chromium version you use. Eventually, those extensions will no longer function. It's best to rip off the bandaid now.

This is utter nonsense, I use catsxp, I entered the Aliexpress website and there are no ads there.

This is some absolute nonsense, I use catsxp when I download updates for this browser, avast screams about the threat, sends the file for analysis and after a while I get the answer that everything is ok.
