AFAIK, uBlock Origin & Tampermonkey still using MV2

No worry, they are under active development.
Sooner or later they will be migrated to MV3.
The problem is those discontinued MV2 extensions.
uBlock Origin can't be migrated, there's a lite version released for mv3 with reduced functionality of course, as for stylus and tampermonkey I don't know if they would work with mv3

When you need to install an extension, you just need to visit the extension's link (for example), then click the bookmarklet and you're done.
You can't get far on crutches. A new version is needed, and its release is very delayed.
