you could skip win7 support then, personality i updated to win11 using tiny11, so i wouldn't need it and i advice the rest cent users to do the same because there are other apps that don't work in win7 too

In fact we found that "win7 support" needs much more workload than "disable direct write".
i personally dont use multilogin; i was giving my priority list for features, thinking that the developers could choose which features to drop based on balancing technical diffiulty and desireability. i certainly dont need win7 support.
thanks

Maybe that would be the right move. I'm personally still using win7 on the main pc, it's just so polished over the years and upgrading (reinstalling/re-configuring everything) would take enormous amount of time no one really has nowadays. But yeah, it shows it's age, some api's are missing now and supporting it becomes a burden, maybe it's time to ditch it.
Multilogin is a must, but it would be much better the way it was before, when you open multiple pages and they don't share the session.

Dear developer, how are things with Windows 8.1 support? Because this operating system is the golden link between Windows 7 and Windows 10.

Full HD is still 60% according to
steam, and that would be 60% +1, cuz i never used it to reflect in the stats. I prefer dual 1080p monitors setup instead of 2 or 4k - scaling just sucks for me. Direct write is a core feature of Cent, most of your important features are already available in chrome with the hotkeys.

for me, the most imporatn features are:- - amazing control over new tab behavior
- "open in new tab", "background, foreground selection", etc.
- the multi-column tab list button
- Restore button for closed tabs
- Download button and download list
- Mute toggle button
- Screenshot button
- Always open tabs in the background
- Super Drag
- Enable lazy loading of the session at startup
Well, and i either don't care about any of these features, or can find an extension to do something similar.
Whereas possibility to disable directWrite is an absolute must.
P.S. Win7 support, if it really takes too much effort to maintain, should be dropped IMO.
